Having personally been disappointed “one too many times” via hosts and venues that over promise and under–deliver, it was incentive enough for us to start up and offer our own self-catering premium beach cottages with the aspiration of exceeding our visitors expectations at every touch point.
Comfort, Safety, Hygiene and Cleanliness at affordable rates are all at the cornerstone of our Holiday Homes. From slip resistant tiles to USB Plug Points, we’ve considered almost everything to keep you comfortable and safe throughout your stay with us.
Our 1st Assignment was to decide between the South Coast vs the North Coast as we understood that these were 2 different types of Holidays. Clearly, we chose the South Coast as our objective was to provide our guests with literally an “Ocean Escape Holiday” away from the hustle and bustle of the City and Malls.
Our 2nd Assignment was to find the BEST “Blue Flag Beach” which we discovered in the best kept secret, hidden gem town of SOUTHPORT, PORT SHEPSTONE…and the rest is history. Of course we hope to extend into other South Coast Towns that meet our criteria. From the moment you park, you will instantly sense that Southport “searenity”.
At all our Holiday Homes, upon your arrival you will be greeted and orientated by our friendly hosts and treated to a welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk, toiletries and a small arrival gift. Bedding & towels (bath and beach) are provided while a camp cot is available upon request.

Amazing beach house. Very clean and spacious and it had all the amenities and appliances you could need. Lee-Roy community fast and efficiently and was very pro-active during our whole stay. Veronica took such good care of us, making sure everything was clean and tidy everyday. The yard is big and secure and my doggies were very happy. Our stay at Southport Sands was truly pure joy. On arrival we were welcomed by a friendly housekeeper and a lovely welcoming gift. Everything was exceptionally clean and the house was furnished with everything we could have wished for. During our stay our friendly housekeeper came in every day to clean and truly went out of her way to assist wherever she could. The pool was kept sparkling and clean. The garden is well kept, privat, and secure, and the grandchildren had plenty of space to play. Thanks to everyone who contributed to making our stay one we will always remember. I full heartedly recommend Southport Sands.

Beautiful hidden gem, pictures are exactly like the website, the hosts are friendly, we got a nice complementary gift on arrival, all facilities worked, the place is stunning and clean, easy access to the beach, this is definitely a must see for families looking to get away and relax.
